With Show Respect, the focus zeroes in on projects in Switzerland that affect children, young people, and people with disabilities or in need of care.
Show Respect is a Zurich-based non-profit association which, by its own bylaws, pursues campaigns for the purpose of promoting respect for man, animals, the environment, as well as for products and services.
One way of supporting and achieving this goal is to affix the SHOW RESPECT APPROVED label to products and services.
The product or service is evaluated on the basis of a very detailed list of requirements, which focuses on three main criteria:
- Respect for nature (ecological sustainability)
- Respect for man and animals (corporate ethics)
- Respect for product features (“respect for the product” and “product culture”).
In this manner, we ensure that this label, unlike many existing ones which evaluate very specific features or points of a product or service, is really helpful to consumers.
Consumers must be able to say: “This product convinces me in ITS ENTIRETY and deserves to be taken into consideration.”
In addition, some of the license proceeds are invested in SHOW RESPECT products deserving support, and therefore, RESPECT, on their home market (specifically, in Switzerland).
The focus is upon projects in Switzerland that affect children, young people, and people with disabilities or in need of care.
In this context, for the sale of products bearing SHOW RESPECT labels, and upon reaching a certain turnover, license holders earn the right to propose projects deserving support.
In this way, consumers can not only get some help to purchase a product that deserves to be purchased, but they also contribute, by buying it, to ensuring that a part of the license proceeds are used for projects deserving support, in pursuit of the SHOW RESPECT mission.
